摘要

A solid knowledge of normal orbital anatomy and its most frequent variations is necessary to establish an accurate diagnosis of orbital disease and to perform meticulous orbital surgery, with the least amount of risk. While a great variability gives each orbit its unique characteristics, it is still possible to describe a general overview of the organization of the orbit, along with a description of the main variations.
