History of the Agricultural Machinery Industry
摘要
The first factories for the construction of agricultural machines were established on the Romanian territory in the first half of the nineteenth century. Later, in the second part of the nineteenth century, after the establishment of the Institute of Agriculture, there was an intense development of companies repairing and manufacturing agricultural machines on the foundation of Romania’s economic growth. After the Second World War, radical social transformations took place through the collectivization and nationalization of land, which necessitated the construction of an agricultural machinery industry suitable for the new conditions. Enterprises producing tractors, seeders and grain harvesting machines, as well as plants for industrial use, were mainly developed.
