Idiopathic Osteolysis

Idiopathic osteolysis is characterized by the destruction of one or more bone segments usually occurring in the post-natal period. Knowledge of this group of pathologies and the associated genes allows diagnosis by invasive investigation. In most cases, there are no ultrasound signs of suspicion, except for mandibular-acral dysplasia, which can be suspected if there is a previously affected child by measuring the clavicle or by the presence of scoliosis.
