Osteodysplasia
摘要
For osteodysplasia, we mean an anomaly of osteocartilage growth and development, that is, an anomaly with an evolutive character, in the sense that the skeletal segment concerned develops in an aberrant way from both a morphological and structural point of view, assuming the characteristics of a real disease. The classification of osteodysplasia is of such a complexity as to discourage the most persevering men. Researchers have tried to find a unitary cataloging system starting from the side of origin, referring to the etiologic cause, following radiological and clinical criteria, etc. All these attempts have proved of little use to the physician who wants to know the field of osteopathies as many of these diseases can originate from the same embryonic tissue or affect the same structures or recognize an identical pathogenetic mechanism and at the same time manifest themselves with a clinical picture, completely different ultrasound, radiological, and anatomo-pathological.
