摘要

Metasurfaces, which are composed of specially designed subwavelength phase-shifting elements arranged in a two-dimensional plane, have demonstrated the ability to effectively manipulate the amplitude, phase and polarization of incoming electromagnetic waves. This makes them a promising candidate for use in ultracompact optical systems. The emergence of metasurface optics represents a significant milestone in the field of nanophotonics, and over the last decade, thousands of research studies have been conducted on metasurface devices and related topics. This chapter specifically focuses on the application of dielectric metasurface polarization optics in full-Stokes polarization detection and imaging polarimetry. By using these techniques, it is possible to capture and analyze the complete polarization state of light, providing valuable information about the optical properties of materials and structures.
