Upper-Extremity Lymphedema

The characteristic of upper-extremity lymphedema differs from that of lower-extremity lymphedema. That is why a clear consensus on the preoperative planning, surgical technique, and outcome measurement for upper-extremity lymphedema is still not available. This chapter will introduce evaluation methods and surgical planning for more efficient and effective lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA) for upper-extremity lymphedema.
