LiteratureLiterature, in its diverse forms, is entwined and grounded directly in human experiences. It exists for specific purposes of educating, mobilising, mirroring and recreating life. It also exposes the significant moral and social values of the writer and his/her environment, which form the nexus for his art. These quintessential functions have existed from time immemorial. Apparently, African literature mirrors various dimensions of life including: politics, religion, social conflicts, class struggle and the human condition in various parts of the society.
