Women’s Legislative Participation in Ghana and Nigeria
摘要
In the last two decades, the issue of women and their marginalisation has been the foci of debate both at national levels as well as at international fora, most especially since democracy as a form of government has become widely accepted as the most representative form of government. To this end, the relevance of women as members of the society and integral participants in the public affairs and processes of decision-making is thematised in analytical studies which discuss matters of concern on citizen’s participation at state, legislative and local government.
