摘要

Applied Observability is an emergent approach within the competitive companies´ Data-Driven strategies characterized by potential of being used in different areas of management. The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is one of strategic and operational areas that can increase substantially in the efficacy and precision if Applied Observability implemented. Applied Observability can be a powerful tool for improving the OHS by helping organizations identify and address potential hazards and risks, and by providing a way to continuously monitor and improve safety practices. To be able to carry on the present scoping review on such an emergent topic, the wide variety of scientific and sectorial records were screened. Most of these shows that the Applied Observability can take the OHS from reactive approach into predictive one if correct performance framework adapted. The preliminary areas of Applied Observability impacts are outlined as a partial result of this work. In addition, the analysis shows Applied Observability can nurture predictive models of human–machine, human–human or machine-machine-with-impact-on-humans interactions within Industry 4.0 systems.
