Adopting a Process Perspective on Design and Development: Challenges and Potential Solutions
摘要
This chapter combines and connects the frameworks introduced throughout earlier chapters of this book to summarise the elements of a process perspective on design and development. It discusses how the potential benefits of a process perspective can be realised in practice, including some of the challenges of using specific types of process models, theories and approaches in a practical setting, as well as some of the challenges arising from how individuals and organisations conceptualise and manage processes more generally. The chapter then introduces a framework of competencies that are required to overcome some of these challenges and realise the benefits of a process perspective. Finally, remarks to conclude the chapter and the entire book are provided.
