Assessing the Adaptability of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the Post-COVID Era in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand

This topic can explore how SMEs in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, have adapted their business models and operations, especially after the COVID pandemic. The study evaluates technology’s role in enhancing these businesses’ adaptability and resilience and their challenges in adopting digital solutions. This research analyzed the organization’s business operation in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The researchers apply a quantitative, stratified sampling method; Data from 809 individuals relatively involved in business operations was collected from Nakhon Pathom in May 2023. Most participants are female, aged between 16 and 30, married, have a bachelor’s degree, work at a private company, and have an average income between $333 and $1000/month. Most have 0–8 years of work experience in micro and small manufacturing with 25 years or above operating years. There are significant differences in impact, work from home, and digital disruption between careers. Prompt response and adjust the business operating and primary job responsibilities change positively affect the organizational age. The longer-established company tends to respond better and adapt to the business operation, and primary job responsibilities change.
