Wastewater Treatment from Railway Transport Facilities in the Arctic Zone of Russia
摘要
More than half of the territory of the Russian Federation is located in permafrost soil. The harsh climatic conditions of these areas complicate the construction and operation of various engineering systems, including wastewater treatment systems from railway transport facilities. Based on the analysis of existing options for the treatment of industrial and atmospheric wastewater in a theoretical way the paper proves the possibility of using the technological scheme of treatment of industrial and rainwater of the railway station, rational for use in the Arctic zone of Russia. The main structure in this scheme is a compact monobloc installation containing three zones sequentially: mechanical cleaning, filtration, and sorption. A program for automated design of compact structures for treatment of industrial and rainwater of railway station wastewater is developed. The outcomes of the work can be used in the design of new and reconstruction of existing stations for the treatment of industrial and atmospheric wastewater generated on the territory of railway transport facilities.
