Shallot Cultural Practices in Indonesia
摘要
Shallot is one of the most important vegetables for Indonesian people because it was used in many Indonesian foods. Shallot demand is increased by year due to population growth. Increasing shallot production through good agriculture practice is necessary to meet the national demand. This paper explained shallot production technique including shallot agro-ecosystem, shallot cropping system, shallot seeds and cultivars, shallot cultivation technique, nutrient management, and pest and diseases management. We hope this manuscript give insight into shallot production system in Indonesia.
