Digitalization of the Social Sphere in Russia During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Analysis, Risks, Prospects

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a real test for the global economy. The fundamental changes that occur against the background of digitalization have a relative impact on the individual and society as a whole. How positive or negative this effect will be depends on the specifics of the management of innovative technologies and their components. Within the framework of this article, the specifics of the digitalization of the social sphere of Russia, as well as its characteristic features in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, are studied. A comparative analysis of the indicators of digitization of key sectors of the social sphere during the pandemic and before it was carried out. The prospects of digitalization of social processes are revealed, as well as possible risks associated with them, since the transformation of such spheres as healthcare, education, and culture is of great importance for society. Social distancing has forced the transformation of the form of providing these services into a digital alternative with great speed. The digital industry has moved far beyond the economy and has become an intersectoral communication tool, an example for this was telemedicine, digital culture and online education.
