摘要

Greenhouse vegetable growing has begun to develop rapidly in large cities and districts around cities of Uzbekistan. This is made possible by the socio-economic reforms and favorable climatic conditions of the province. Uzbekistan is characterized by the arrival of a large stream of solar radiation, which in turn provides sufficient light for 10 months of the year. This creates good conditions for reducing the costs of fuel for heating and lighting greenhouses, as well as the use of additional lighting. This article depicts the results of an experiment conducted in 2020–2022, which examined the selection of fruitful hybrids of sweet and hot peppers for growing in a transitional season in hydroponic greenhouses. As a result of the experiments, it was found that the hybrid of the hot pepper Flamingo F1 was superior to other tested hybrids in terms of the number of leaves (145 pieces). As a result, these hybrids achieved 1–7 kg/m2 higher yield than the other hybrids that participated in the test. The Shakira hybrid of hot peppers was 0.9 kg/m2 superior to the Golden variety zoned for open fields in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
