Calculation of Parameters of the Cultivator’s Working Body Based on Bionic Shaping

The determination of the parameters and modes of operation of the new working body should be carried out comprehensively using mutually agreed dependencies that take into account not only the geometry of the structure, but also the physical and mechanical properties of the treated medium, as well as the required quality and energy indicators of the technological process. The aim of the study is to develop a methodology for calculating the parameters and modes of operation of a new working body with the required indicators of the technological process, taking into account the properties of the soil. Using the dependencies representing the scientific novelty of research in terms of the relationship between the parameters and modes of operation of the new working body for a cultivator with the physical and mechanical properties of the treated medium and the indicators of the technological process, a method for calculating the working body for shallow tillage with curved surfaces of increased streamlining has been developed. The parameters and modes of operation of the new working body were obtained: the crumbling angle of 15°, length 30 cm, width 45 cm, the angle of solution 75–110°, the angle of elevation 10° at a depth of 6–16 cm and a speed of up to 14 km/h. The technological process of the working body is characterised by the following indicators: crumbling with a characteristic lump size up to 25 mm, traction resistance up to 3.7 kN.
