Why Do We Need to Re-configure Academic Practices and How to Do It?

Revolutionizing education is not just the need of the hour but also the stepping stone to hassle free, paperless imparting of knowledge at various academic levels. The preceding chapters can be said to be a precursor to what this chapter entails. The confinement brought in essence by the pandemic has estranged human society to basic rights to movement and interaction thus, setting us for the new ‘normal’. Re-conceptualizing curriculum and pedagogy as the quintessential source of re-birth to an advanced education system globally has surfaced again and championing this cause with the strength of innovative technology has taken its root. Although this might be challenging, a comprehensive guideline to restructuring the society at large has already been initiated. The chapter henceforth has tried to present (1) different venue through which re-formulation of teaching and learning can be done. (2) Re-examining the traditional process and its drawback in times of crisis; (3) the pragmatic approach to digital learning; as well as (4) collaboration of different resources; to name a few. Most importantly, to prepare a skilled youth for tomorrow, we need to create a better today and this must be done by providing an effective curriculum and channelizing educational resources more efficiently.
