Optical Wireless Communication
摘要
Optical wireless communication (OWC) is a powerful data transmission technology due to the availability of its vast unlicensed spectrum, ultra-high data rates, and inherent security. In this chapter, the fundamental aspects of OWC systems are presented. Furthermore, three main topics which make OWC an enabler technology for 6G are investigated in greater details. These include terabit-scale multi-beam systems design, zero-energy transceivers, and intelligent reflective surfaces.
