Modeling of Microwave Waveguide Systems of a Special Design
摘要
The seventh chapter is devoted to modeling specially designed microwave systems. Here, the simulation of the electromagnetic field of a rectangular waveguide with slotted side walls was performed. Thus, in this chapter, we have developed a dispersion equation for a rectangular waveguide with an infinite number of cracks in a small wall. The effective surface impedance is calculated and the dispersion characteristics are obtained depending on the value of the effective surface impedance and the waveguide wavelength. In this chapter, the dispersion equation for the propagation coefficient of electromagnetic waves of a dielectric waveguide with a circular cross section is obtained and the dependence of the propagation coefficient on the radius of this waveguide is established. An analysis of the field components showed that the field in the chiral region of the waveguide is hybrid. As a result, such a system can act as a converter to convert one type of wave to another type of wave.
