Conclusion: A Few Remarks for Further Reflections

In my conclusion, I summarize the most relevant points of the book, stressing once again the necessity of avoiding every bias derived from superimposing Western concepts and sensibilities unto philosophically different contexts like the Muslim one. Indeed, I argue here that in a legal scenario characterized by a structural and progressive process of globalization and circulation of legal notions and models, understanding the various approaches in which to structure a dialogue between two great legal traditions like the Islamic and Western one appears to be essential, now more than ever before.
