The Communion Between Beings

Touch between living beings is without boundaries given the porosity of skin and the permeability of membranes. If touch makes us perceive limits, it also provides us with an experience of the infinite—an infinite which can be good or bad according to whether the experience is solipsistic or it corresponds to a sharing, to a communion opening up to an endless exchange. For touch, reciprocity is crucial and its lack brings about repetitions, tautologies saturations or suspensions which cause irritation, exasperation, pain or distress and even the fading of touch as such. The same goes with every discourse, especially metalinguistic, which thwarts the action of touch, which tells by itself. Touch is even syntactic by itself, linking subject and predicate in a unity of being, which revives or restores its potential of life, of energy and its irradiation through the flesh and the soul. Hence the birth or rebirth of intimate movements which gives rise to a becoming still to come—to a physical and spiritual growth which makes blossom and flower what has been perceived of touch in each and between the ones who shared it.
