An Immediate Access to the Transcendental

According to our tradition, and notably to Hegel, communion would take place between humans and God, or in God, but not between two human beings naturally different. Faith would be that which, apparently, can abolish a quantitative difference, by rendering it absolute, in order for a union to happen between the same ones—a union between the finite and the infinite corresponding to a sacred mystery. However, does not life, as well as the union between the same ones, then lose their innocence by resorting to a third external to them? Hence a necessary return to childhood, when a union between humanity and divinity would exist almost naturally. Could this be because understanding has not yet caused the split of our being—of our soul?
