Introduction

In recent years, with the development of Internet technology and the popularization of portable devices, multimedia applications such as search engines, social networks, and online shopping platforms have become indispensable parts of people’s lives. These network services bring great convenience to our daily life. As a result, a rapidly growing volume of multimedia data has been generated, i.e., text, image, audio, and video, as shown in Figure 1.1.
