Operator Rules, Real Eigenvalues, and Projection Operator

We have learned the basic rules of vector operations. In this chapter, we will study the rules when operators (matrix) are involved. We will also learn the concept of projection operator that can be used to find a certain component of a vector (state). You will further appreciate the power of bra–ket notation in this process.
