In this chapter, I will show you some of the tedious mathematical derivations step-by-step. They are not difficult, and you just need to be patient as they are necessary to understand quantum computing. We will look at Pauli spin matrices in-depth. We will also study a special kind of matrix, namely the Hermitian matrix.
