The field of dental implantology stands as a testament to the transformative power of scientific progress. From the cornerstone principle of osseointegration, a revelation that unlocked the potential for implants to fuse with jawbone tissue, to the contemporary era’s dazzling array of computer-guided techniques, the field has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis. This chapter embarks on a guided exploration of this remarkable evolution, placing particular emphasis on the synergistic interplay between groundbreaking advancements in CT imaging, CBCT scans, dynamic navigation system, and the cornerstone of clinical expertise. We shall explore the profound impact of innovations like cone beam CT (CBCT) scans and computerized tomography (CT) imaging, alongside dynamic navigation system. Each of these has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the landscape of implant dentistry. Furthermore, we will train our sights on the burgeoning potential of dynamic navigation systems, a technology poised to redefine the future of implant surgery by amplifying accuracy and prioritizing patient comfort.
