Bone Harvesting Techniques from Intra Oral Donor Sites for Maxillofacial Nonvascular Bone Grafting
摘要
Numerous intraoral donor sites for nonvascular bone grafting are available in the mouth. Compared to extraoral harvest sites, these locations are easier to access, and surgery can be performed in an office setting without the need for an operating room environment. This chapter discusses bone harvested from the mandibular symphysis, lateral ramus, maxillary tuberosity, and multiple other sites that may be utilized for reconstruction of maxillofacial defects.
