Intraoperative and Postoperative Imaging in Maxillofacial Surgery
摘要
The range of treatments within oral and maxillofacial surgery is extensive, encompassing everything from dentoalveolar procedures and reconstruction to addressing craniofacial abnormalities. Achieving successful surgical outcomes necessitates the use of precise and accurate diagnostic imaging. The imaging techniques employed in oral and maxillofacial surgery primarily serve diagnostic and treatment planning roles. Advancements in three-dimensional (3D) imaging technologies and software have significantly improved surgical care, enabling the use of customized surgical guides, hardware, and implants (Wang and Ford 2021).
