Maxillofacial Osteomylitis: Etiology, Pathogenesis, Clinical Presentation and Management

Osteomyelitis is considered as a true infection of the bone (Koorbusch 1991; Topazian 2002) and has resurfaced due to emerging resistance to the antibiotics especially in developing nations. The chapter attempts to identify different clinical types of the disease along with the understanding of the underlying etiopathogenesis and management.
