This chapter reviews the anatomy of the upper lip, including its vascular supply, venous drainage, innervation, and muscular structure. It outlines the management of cleft lip, including presurgical nasoalveolar molding, lip adhesion, and definitive surgical repair. Surgical approaches for unilateral complete cleft lip, bilateral cleft lip, incomplete cleft lip, minor-form clefts, microform clefts, and mini-microform clefts are discussed, with emphasis on anatomical differences, principles of repair, surgical markings, nasal floor reconstruction, orbicularis oris repair, nasal correction, postoperative care, and surgical adjuncts.
