Cervicofacial rhytidectomy is considered the gold standard of facial rejuvenation. The face and neck lift procedure aims to restore a youthful and revitalized facial appearance through the softening of facial wrinkles, tightening of lax skin, and redefining of jawline contours. The cervicoplasty or neck lift aims to reverse signs of aging such as jowls, platysmal bands, loss of cervico-mental angle, and reduction of submental fat. The cervicofacial rhytidectomy has undergone an evolution in surgical techniques as surgeons add their personal flavor and touch to achieve more enhanced and long-lasting results. This chapter is intended to explore the face and neck lift procedure with an emphasis on preoperative evaluation, surgical technique, and discussion of complications.
