PLA and The Future of Education

In the context of the AI age, the integration and innovation of cloud computing, data science, and other advanced technologies in higher education have resulted in the creation of smart learning. It offers a good chance to completely implement an adaptive and individualized learning system. This paper is AI-driven and student-centered, it begins with the specific needs of learning and examines the natural language processing-based human–computer interaction technologies and the design of Personalized Learning Assistant (PLA) systems. This can collect and analyze massive volumes of educational data, and analyze quantitative information on learning status, learning behavior characteristics, and learning impacts which can aid in developing a comprehensive personalized learning model. This can also smartly build tailored study plans and learning programs, propose learning materials and implement an adaptive customized learning system based on learning impact feedback. This research explains the concept of digital tutoring and the proposed framework of the PLA system.
