The Role of Financial Technology Innovations in Strengthening the Digital Finance Services in the Jordanian Banking System

The study aimed to demonstrate the role of financial technology and its technical tools in the Central Bank of Jordan's efforts to strengthen digital financial services in the Jordanian banking system. The paper explained the digital financial services concept and financial technology, highlighting the Central Bank of Jordan's role in encouraging fintech innovations in the banking sector, and showed the legislative efforts of the Central Bank of Jordan to apply these techniques in this aspect. The most important application is the Financial Technology Laboratory, which is considered an experimental environment that allows conducting the necessary tests and examinations of financial technology in a safe, disciplined and stimulating environment for banking financial institutions and individuals by supporting entrepreneurship and innovations leading to a wide approach of digital financial inclusion. The study recommended the need to keep the Central Bank of Jordan for financial technology innovations by attracting entrepreneurial and creative innovations in the field of digital financial services.
