Digital Transformation Revolution and Higher Education Universities in Jordan: Exploring the Students’ Attitude Toward the Use of eLearning Platforms in the COVID-19 Pandemic

The current study set out to thoroughly examine undergraduate students’ perceptions toward the adoption of eLearning platforms both during and after the corona pandemic in Jordanian universities of higher education (COVID-19). The researchers used a descriptive approach in the analysis process of randomly selecting a sample size of 360 students to complete a questionnaire. The data obtained showed that students in Jordanian universities used eLearning platforms for online education in slightly different ways statistically. The study focused on the factors that affect students’ adoption of eLearning platforms and their ability to use them effectively, using the technology acceptance model (TAM) as a research framework. The purpose of the study was to assess the factors that influence students’ attitudes towards the use of eLearning platforms in Jordanian higher education institutions. Based on the results, which indicated that students were satisfied in and interested in and with eLearning platforms, the researchers recommend promoting the adoption, quality, and accessibility of eLearning platforms, enhancing student engagement and motivation, improving faculty capability, and expanding digital literacy.
