The Impact of Digital Transformation on Institutional Excellence in Private Jordanian Universities—Case Study: Zarqa University

摘要

The purpose of the study was to identify the impact of digital transformation on institutional excellence at private universities. Zarqa University was selected as the case study for the study. A descriptive analysis was performed in the study, and a purposive sample of members of the community was taken from the university’s supervisory and leadership positions, which numbered (220) employees. To collect data for the study, the researcher used a questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed using the comprehensive sample method. A total of 163 questionnaires were analyzed, and SPSS was used to analyze the data and test hypotheses. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant effect of the dimensions of digital transformation on institutional excellence at Zarqa University, and that the dimensions of digital transformation have an impact on each of the dimensions of institutional excellence (leadership, knowledge, and human resources). Institutional excellence can be explained (69.9%) by digital transformation factors. According to the study, private universities should prepare for digital transformation because it plays a significant role in achieving institutional excellence by providing universities with human cadres and technological devices to boost digital transformation's efficiency.
