Over the last twenty years, the authors of this book have been enmeshed in conversations about how difficult it is to support communities as they plan relocations and resettlements as an adaptive response to climate change-related flooding. Twenty years ago in Alaska, relocation challenges seemed born of state ignorance and neglect.
