The Process of Modeling
摘要
Models are required in anyModelparameterization type of performance study, from the design and procurement of new systems, to data center and cloud capacity planning. This chapter describes the main input parameters of the models and the output measures that can be obtained from their solutions. The relationships among these quantities, i.e., the operational laws, are also introduced. The most important steps to implement models to be solved with simulation and analytical techniques are reviewed.
