Board-Level Worker Representation: A Blessing or a Curse?

Within the context of corporate governance reform, this paper aims to present a review of the two opposing views of board-level worker representation (BLWR) and the underlying theories including the implications for firms and their board effectiveness. As such, this paper is significant to corporations, regulators, academics and researchers who plan to do research in the same area, as it provides a comprehensive outline of relevant papers in the field.
