摘要

A rise in the amount of attention dedicated to financial technology (Fintech) services has been seen in recent years. Because of the inherent risks associated with Fintech, several people are skeptical about its widespread acceptance. However, although many financial experts and practitioners believe that Fintech will have a substantial influence. We need to understand why consumers are thrilled or nervous about using financial technology, as well as what factors influence their choice to accept or reject services. A benefit-risk approach is proposed, which takes into account both the good and negative aspects of its implementation. It is based on the net valence framework, which is conceptually anchored in the idea of reasoned action. This study analyzes whether perceived advantage and risk have a major influence on the motivation to utilize Fintech technology using empirical data obtained from Fintech users. Following that, as per our findings, legal risk has the biggest negative influence on Fintech adoption intentions, while convenience has the highest favorable impact. The differences in behavior between early and late adopters might be attributed to a variety of variables, including legal risk and convenience.
