摘要

The pandemic Covid-19 is about to alter the planet entirely, negatively impact the global economy, decrease mental health, and increase stress as well as reduce quality of education. The study focuses on two crucial risk factors in stress by examining financial issues and online learning as the major factors behind university students’ stress during pandemic covid-19. Two hundred self-administered questionnaires were distributed to obtain quantitative data. Google Form was used to build the questionnaire. The questionnaire was then circulated via messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and Instagram. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) software version 3.6 was used for hypothesis testing. A total of 120 questionnaires represented of 60% response rate and useable data for further analysis. The survey result shows that financial issues have a more significant effect on stress than online learning. Path regression coefficient indicated that financial issues were the most important predictors of stress among university students. These results allow us to understand crucial risk factors in students stress to better and drive us to substantially consider them in time-oriented policy and plan for the management of the education system may decrease the stress of university students. Future research and practice implications and recommendations will be presented.
