Postdigital Performing Arts
摘要
Performance Studies explore how our bodies help us make sense of the world. Performance Studies are not limited to theatre, dance, or music; they encompass various ordinary interactions and activities including politics, religion, and education. Postdigital performance is focused on interactions between the body, the medium, movement, and space, provoking reflections on cultural relations between the machine, contemporaneity, and human being. Postdigital performers use digital discourses and strategically apply their aesthetic frameworks, networked structures, and connectivity, to harness their potentials for identity-, culture-, and community-formation. Postdigital performing arts are transmedial and networked modes of thinking and exercises of posthuman intercreativity.
