Postdigital Future Classrooms
摘要
This entry describes postdigital future classrooms as production sites of education futures. Research in this area spans from pedagogical experiments and enactments to speculative visions of how learning environments and classroom technologies might be designed, organised, or negotiated in the future. Drawing on perspectives from Medium Theory, Networked Learning, and Science and Technology Studies, the entry outlines the theoretical foundations of postdigital future classrooms. It further shows how this emerging field is informed by postdigital research approaches, characterized by interdisciplinary and emancipatory orientations. The entry also presents a typology of recent research on postdigital future classrooms, organised along temporal and magnitude scales.
