Microsoft Azure

Azure is the Microsoft cloud computing platform that offers over 200 services to consumers in 140 countries across a global fiber optic network. The result is an interconnected system of Azure Data Centers, Geographies, Regions, Region Pairs, and Availability Zones that provides high availability, disaster recovery, and data resiliency. This chapter summarizes the primary Azure service categories of Monitor, Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, and Database. As was previously accomplished for AWS, in the lab you will create the same fully operational three-tier web architecture that resides and is fully operational on the Azure infrastructure.
