Cloud Industry Trends

Cloud technology will continue to evolve at a rapid pace. This chapter evaluates major trends driving the future of the cloud industry. In cloud services management, for example, managed, unmanaged, and serverless services are emerging. Application development is evolving from monolithic platforms to Service-Oriented Architectures (SOAs), to microservices.
