Subsea Pipeline Gathering System
摘要
The focus of this chapter is to describe the main components of the subsea gathering system as the subsea lines and any equipment connecting the Wet Christmas Trees to the production platform. The layout of the satellite wells and lines is also described. The subsea gathering system stands out to have achieved remarkable breakthrough in technological improvement of subsea equipment and the new innovative concepts of subsea systems. Many examples of this achievement have been highlighted in the papers related to components of subsea systems, such as flexible flowlines, umbilicals, sophisticated manifolds, subsea lay-out configuration, and the subsea pumping and separation.
