摘要

Nasal polyps represent a diverse range of pathologies ranging from benign inflammatory diseases to neoplasms. Polyps associated with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) are most common and, within this category, incorporate a wide histopathological spectrum. Pertinent histopathological features of nasal polyps, including the inflammatory cell profile and cell counts, are helpful in prognosticating and treatment planning in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis. This chapter summarizes the macroscopic and microscopic features of the major subtypes of nasal polyps across the benign and neoplastic spectrum.
