Vasculitis Including Churg–Strauss Syndrome

Systemic vasculitides, specially granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) formerly Wegener’s granulomatosis and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) formerly Churg–Strauss Syndrome, may be associated with nasal manifestations such as allergic and nonallergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis with or without nasal polyps. Management of systemic vasculitides requires a multidisciplinary approach, diagnosis is based on clinical, histopathological, and immunological features and treatment is based on steroids and immunosuppressive agents.
