Creating a Positive Feedback Culture in Geriatrics Education
摘要
A positive feedback culture arising from the growth mindset is essential for lifelong learning for health care providers in the care of older persons. Educators in geriatric medicine can serve as role models and guide trainees using learning goals, direct observation, self-reflection, behavior-focused feedback, and action plans. Thoughtful approaches to the feedback setting, learning across differences, and including the voices of the interprofessional team can enhance the learning experience.
