Cultural Studies and Framings of Inequality
摘要
This chapter proposes cultural studies of COVID-19. To this end, it studies the rhetoric of vaccinationalisms; the biopolitical cultures and the responses to these discourses that pointed to segregated vulnerabilities resulting from inequalities of class, age, ethnicity and race; and the various genres of cultural production (including celebrity blogging and diaries). The chapter demonstrates how COVID-19 cultures are implicitly about unequal social conditions.
