Two-Dimensional Carbon Graphdiyne
摘要
Graphdiyne is a 2-D material, which comprises benzene rings, connected via acetylenic bonds was given by Baughman and his team in 1987 and synthesized by Li et al. in 2010. Due to the presence of both sp as well as sp2 hybridized carbon, equally distributed pores, excessive conjugation, and soon, it can be utilized in various fields like energy storage and conversion, optoelectronic appliances, catalysts gas separation, sensing devices, etc. In the present chapter, we briefly introduce its various synthetic approaches as well as properties. Moreover, an attempt has been made to describe the application of graphdiyne (GDY) in various sectors, including gas separation, energy storage appliances, sensing devices, water remediation, and so on.
